                       Is it a Crime to Be Rich?

I was home on a Sunday evening flipping through channels and like most people I got lured into the world of “Reality TV”.  As I watched show after show, I kept noticing a common saying “She came from nothing and acts like she’s been rich all her life”.  I then studied the women and their actions toward society and one another and I have to say a lot of the women were a bit over the top. However, this comes with the territory... Right?!?

So why is it a crime for someone that comes from nothing to get rich and start living it? Ask yourself this; Would you shop at the places you shop at now if you were wealthier? The answer that most would give is “No”.  Society makes it seem as though you shouldn’t live a certain way if you come from a certain place (NOT)...  You know that saying “You can take the person out of the Hood/Trailer Park but you can’t take the hood/trailer park out of the person.  Would you think this a true statement?

Let’s be honest a lawyer marries a woman that wasn’t well to do and made her wealthy over night. Would you expect her to behave like a person with no background when her husband takes her on outings with his fellow colleagues? The answer would be “No”.  And that is just it, when a person gets to a certain part of their life things would need to change in a better way, meaning their circle would need to change as well with like minded people.

In this day and time TV is Reality.  And I can see a lot of people on TV have come from nothing and try to make due with what they have today and leave their past in the past... So is it a crime to be rich?
