7 Years Later and Forever Grateful

This day 7 years ago, I gave birth to my first seed. Tolu, took my breath away with the first sight of him. BOY, it was difficult at first to adjust to being a mom! WOW!!! Yes, I was now responsible of another human being, making sure he is fed, sheltered, and safe all in all.

God knows... I say this in sync knowing that God will never give you something you cannot handle.

My Tolu came out with a SHINE and still SHINES BRIGHT! I am oh so proud of him and all his little accomplishments (more to come) --Say "Amen"

Last night I blew up about 25 balloons and laid them around our living room area (My ritual for all my boys birthday).  I do this so my birthday boy could wake feeling AWESOME and TERRIFIC for the day!


So this morning he wakes up, gets his hair cut (Hubby does the best job).  Walks into his balloons with laughter and joy in his heart. I also played the famous "Happy Birthday" song by Stevie Wonder and tears form in my eyes full of joy and compassion I sang the entire song to him and prayed for him and told him my reasoning for crying... "Son, these are tears of joy. I am so happy and grateful for you today"
